FAQ

Q: How long does the paint stay on?

A: As long as you need it to. I’m using special leather paint that bonds really well with real and faux leather. I personally have a leather bag and jacket that I have painted in 2016 and use every day, and they look exactly how they did when I first painted them. The paint is water-proof and non-cracking, and unless you try to sand it with sandpaper (why would you do that?) it will stay.

Q: How about on plastic/metal/glass?

A: The enamel paint that I use also adheres really well to plastic, metal and glass. Even your suitcases that go through the harsh conditions of airport handlers will come out on the other end with the paint fully intact.

Q: What is the process of getting something customized?

A: Please get in touch with me and let me know if you have any idea of what you want customized, and on what material. If you can attach photos that would be great. I usually respond to requests within one business day.

Q: How long does it take to get something customized?

A: As every oder is different the time varies too. On average orders take 1-2 weeks to be completed. If you need something for a closer date or in time for the holidays please let me know and I’ll see what I can do to accommodate you.

Q: How much do you charge?

A: Since every design is different I charge a day rate, depending how long the painting will take me. Most projects fit in the <$1K range. Get in touch with me and we will figure out something that matches your budget. Note that I charge 30% retainer to book you in and the rest 70% when I send you the ready, painted item.

Q: I’m based outside of California. Can I still get my item customized?

A: Absolutely! Get in touch with me and I’ll provide you with the address where you need to ship your item to. I’ll paint it, and send it back to you. The return shipping is on me!
