In 2021 a team of Adobe employees commissioned me to make a custom illustration, as a gift to a beloved colleague who was retiring.

Her name is Anna, and the brief was to incorporate her name in the violin illustration.

After a few sketches with her name being spelled out from the violin strings, the body of the violin and the f-holes, we chose to stick with the last version.

And as a little Easter egg I decided to incorporate an actual violin piece as the notes in the final illustration. You can hear Paganini’s - Violin Concerto No.2 in B minor “La Campanella” here.
